My Second Livegood Unboxing Video David Hurley, September 28, 2024September 28, 2024 My second LiveGood product order arrived yesterday! (Here’s the link to my first Livegood unboxing video and blog post.) I was excited to receive the package, but there was a bit of an issue during transit. The box had been dropped, and you can see in the video it’s a bit crushed in one corner. The DHL delivery bloke asked us to open the box while he was there so that we could verify that the contents were okay, which they were. So, this isn’t going to be a traditional “unboxing” since the box has already been opened. But I’ll still walk you through what I ordered. Here’s the video: I ordered four products, and I’m really happy with my choices! They’re nicely priced, and with autumn and winter coming up, now seems like the perfect time to start taking a daily multivitamin. I think we could all use the extra support during the colder months. Livegood Vitamin D3 and K2 Next up is vitamin D3 and K2, which I’ll be taking alongside the multivitamins. Vitamin D is crucial for maintaining a strong immune system, yet many people are deficient due to limited sunlight exposure and the lack of vitamin D in most foods. LiveGood’s Vitamin D3 and K2 supplement provides 2,000 units of high-quality D3, supported by K2 to promote healthy bones, heart function, and optimal calcium absorption. Livegood Ultra Magnesium Complex The product I’m most excited about is the Ultra Magnesium Complex. Every now and then, I get leg cramps at night – not recently, thankfully – but especially if I’ve been running around a lot or during the colder weather. I’m not sure if the cold actually causes leg cramps, but I’m hoping that by taking this magnesium supplement, I’ll no longer have to deal with them! I did some research on different types of magnesium before buying this product and I was pleased to see that Livegood’s magnesium supplement consists of high-quality magnesium glycenate rather than magnesium oxide, which some cheap supplements use. Here’s my blog post about the different types of magnesium and which are the best for various requirements here: https://fit50s.com/health-tips/what-is-the-best-form-of-magnesium-supplement-for-your-body/ I also posted a detailed review of Livegood’s Ultra Magnesium Complex here: https://fit50s.com/product-reviews/livegood-ultra-magnesium-complex-review/ Livegood Essential Aminos Finally, the last supplement in the box is Essential Aminos. I plan to take this as a post-workout drink, and I’m curious to see how it helps with recovery and energy. Essential amino acids (EAAs) are crucial for many vital functions in the body, as they cannot be produced internally and must come from diet or supplements. Here’s what they are good for: Muscle growth and repair: EAAs are key in building and repairing muscle tissue, making them especially beneficial after exercise. Energy production: They help generate energy during physical activities, supporting endurance and reducing fatigue. Immune system support: EAAs aid in maintaining a healthy immune system by promoting cell regeneration and fighting off infections. Mood and cognitive function: Certain EAAs, like tryptophan, are precursors to neurotransmitters like serotonin, which influence mood, sleep, and mental well-being. Healthy metabolism: They play a role in metabolic processes, supporting everything from fat burning to enzyme production. Overall, essential amino acids are vital for maintaining muscle mass, promoting recovery, and supporting overall health, particularly as we age. In addition, I posted an article about the possible role of EAAs in cancer prevention: https://fit50s.com/cancer-prevention/can-essential-amino-acids-minimize-the-risk-of-cancer/ So, there you have it – four essential supplements from LiveGood. Everything was delivered here in Japan with no problems, no import issues, and no extra duties. I’m looking forward to trying them out and seeing how they support my health in the months ahead.
