Stop Drinking Soda To Improve Health & Finances

David Hurley, August 16, 2023June 21, 2024

Here’s a short video I made about one quick and easy thing you can do to improve your health and finances: stop drinking carbonated drinks! If you simply cut out soda from your diet you will take a massive step towards improving both your physical and financial health. The money you save by cutting out carbonated beverages can be invested in more positive endeavors, such as building an online business.

Counting The Cost of Soft Drinks

According to the Yahoo financial website,Time Magazine reports that soft drinks alone contribute to a massive expenditure of $65 billion in the United States. On average, an American household spends approximately $850 annually on these carbonated beverages. Let’s breaks that number down to see how much an average American could save every month simply by cutting out soda consumption.

Calculating the Expense

Dividing the annual expenditure by 365 days, we find that the average American household spends about $2.32 per day on soda or sugary drinks. If we assume the average household consists of four people, the individual expense amounts to approximately 58 cents per day. Multiplying this by 30 days, the monthly spend on soda equates to $17.50 per person.

Investing in Health and Opportunity

Quite often people email me to explain that they want to make money online but don’t have any money to invest in internet marketing.

However, they may be overlooking the significant amount they spend on soda each month. By cutting out this expense, individuals can take a massive step forward in improving their health and freeing up funds for other endeavors.

A Healthier Alternative To Drinking Soda

Here’s a simple and cost-effective alternative to chugging soda: brew your own tea. Get yourself a 2 litre bottle and buy some herbal teabags. Fill up the bottle with water and add a tea bag. Let it infuse and cool the tea in your fridge to create a refreshing, healthy, and low cost beverage. This method not only saves money but massively reduces sugar intake, as soda is one of the biggest contributors to excessive sugar consumption.

In short, cutting out soda from our daily routine can have a profound impact on both our health and financial freedom. By eliminating the expense associated with carbonated beverages, we can redirect those funds towards more positive investments, such as building an online business.

Additionally, opting for healthier alternatives, like brewing our own tea, can further contribute to a healthier lifestyle. Let’s take this easy-to-implement health tip and make a significant change for the better.

Action Steps

  1. Buy a 2 liter drinking bottle from Amazon.
  2. Buy some herbal teabags too. (Twinings are good!)
  3. Invest in an online business opportunity with the money you save.
